Big & Little Series
Having a kid changes things. Including the subject matter of one's paintings apparently. While pregnant with our daughter, Storey, I came up with The Big and Little Series. Each painting features a big something and little something, sharing good times, good times. I thought folks would want them for their children's rooms. And they do. But originals have also ended up in bathrooms, kitchens hallways and the like. So when folks asked, I'd just say I make art for little people AND big people too!
Growth Charts
These were fabulous, one-of-a-kind growth charts, painted with acrylics on unstretched, sewn canvas. Loved them.
Me & Papa Series
Once Storey was born, Jason became a Papa. The Me & Papa Series was the end result of my witnessing this cheesy, yet touching, transformation.
Robots! Owls! Hippos! Oh, my!
This series was produced for my first gallery opening at Local Girl Gallery, April 4th, 2009. All of our friends started having children right around when we had Storey. Startlingly, all of them are growing up! Robots, owls, hippos and elephants top the charts as favorite friends amongst our little friends, and thus their interests became mine.
Little Birds
Round, little, knobby-kneed birds kept showing up in my paintings. It was inevitable that they have a series all of their own. They also have a few larger, 3D friends to hang with them, if they're feeling lonely.
More From 2010!
I kept on painting, despite recently delivering our second bean and running after our first who was a very active toddler at the time. Whew!
Robot Love
What started out as a custom request turned into cards, vinyl stickers and fabulous prints!
For The Birds
Each year one of the galleries I showed at had a themed show titled, For The Birds. Since Owl Love You has always been so popular, I decided to paint two more owls-on-red pieces for the show in 2011. Fun!
Bears On Bikes!
The four of us, we're all on bikes now. We look like bears, but we don't care. Bears, love bikes.
So I came up with ten framed original black and white ink drawings of bears... on bikes.
Bears... on bikes! Enjoy!

Dinos!
Each print in this series started out as a pen and ink drawing and some delicious photographs. Both were then digitally brought together to produce a scrumptious, cut-paper-ish, colorized version of the original.
Friends On Bikes
My last series, inspired by those who asked for other animals on bikes!
